Athletics and Cheerleading
Students are allowed to participate in elementary and junior high athletics and cheerleading. Band Students are allowed to participate in elementary and junior high band. Breakfast & Lunch Currently, all students have the opportunity to have a free breakfast and hot lunch. Bus
Buses are available, but space is limited. Students will be expected to wear a face covering on the bus. If possible, please plan alternate transportationfor your child Class Schedule

Progress Reports The staff will use e-mail to communicate with parents regarding student progress. The staff will also keep students and parents informed of a student’s progress by utilizing the Power School web site, which posts student grades on-line, with password protection. School Calendar Our students follow the Nome Public Schools approved school calendar including no school days and minimum days. ![]()

School Drop Off and Pick Up Locations
**Drop off BEFORE school on the WEST side of the building. Enter at stairs under the main ACSA sign. **Pick up AFTER school on the EAST side of the building. Exit at cement ramp under the other ACSA sign. School Hours
9:00 - 4:05 pm, except Wednesdays Wednesday is a minimum day with release time of 2:45 pm. School Supplies List

Staff Expectations
The teaching staff has high expectations of each and every student, both academically and socially. With these high expectations, students will be given numerous opportunities to succeed in schoolwork and social development. We want each student to strive to do his or her very best in every endeavor. Washington, DC Trip for 8th Grade Students
Eighth grade students are normally invited to participate in an end of year trip to Washington, DC. We will continue to evaluate the feasibility of a trip in 2021 and will release information as it becomes available. |
